DIY Tactile Tracing + Counting Tool

When kids have the opportunity to use their hands or move their bodies, they can learn better!

Tactile tracing is a great way to practice pre-writing and fine motor skills!

To make this tool, you just need some cardboard or sturdy paper (I used a cereal box) and some glue!

I wrote out some numbers for my Pickle (age 3) to practice tracing.

You can also write on the cardboard with marker, then trace it with glue. That way, It will soak up the color like in this picture!

I'm also going to use this to make a full set of sensory counting cards- I'll write a number at the top of the card, then put the matching number of dots underneath.
